Ethox staff team

GLIDE is recruiting for a new Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a focus on the ethics of pandemic preparedness, surveillance and response.

  • Oxford Population Health (Nuffield Department of Population Health), University of Oxford
  • Grade 7: £33,309 - £40,927 per annum

This exciting position will be based within the University of Oxford's Ethox Centre and it will offer the opportunity to work closely with the University's newly established Pandemic Sciences Centre. A key element of the role will be participation in the exchange programme with Johns Hopkins Berman Institute, including at least one extended academic visit at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

To be considered you will hold PhD or DPhil in a bioethics, medical ethics, or other relevant subject and have experience of publishing in peer-reviewed journals. You will also have excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication, present research proposals and results, and represent the research group at meetings.
